Alarms

At Academy we can provide you with a variety of alarm systems to help you get a good nights sleep.

Consider the following :

Over 80% of burglaries are opportunistic, making your home or business a viable target at any time.

If your premises have been broken into previously, it is more likely to be targeted again.

Over 18% of commercial properties suffer a break-in each year.

Security is important. Burglaries and robberies are a constant threat, so security planning is the best way to reduce the risks to your property. Also remember to follow these common sense guidelines :
  • Don't leave keys in hiding places such as under the doormat. Burglars DO know all of the cmomon hiding places.
  • Keep sheds & outbuildings locked. Your tools are incredibly useful to a thief who wants to gain entry.
  • Don't leave ladders lying around. If they are kept outside, secure them with a chain and padlock to something secure.
  • Do Lock all your doors and windows when you go out. Pay particular attention to the back of your premises.
  • Close the curtains and leave a light on in a main room if you are going out for the evening.
  • Don't leave curtains and blinds drawn in the daytime - they attract the thief.
